An unexploded device was found in a garden in Abbotsbury, Dorset, prompting the closure of a road through the village. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was mobilised to assess the item, exact nature unknown.
The Army later confirmed that the EOD team had made the item safe in situ via a controlled explosion.
