Residents were evacuated after the discovery of an unexploded shell on a building site in Rugby, Warwickshire.
Police put in place a 400m security cordon, with people asked to vacate properties whilst the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team attended.
The EOD team carried out a controlled explosion to make the shell safe.
