Controlled Explosion for WWII Ordnance Fished out of River Severn

A controlled explosion was carried out after a WWII-era device was fished out of the River Severn at Bewdley in Worcestershire. Police closed a bridge and evacuated several businesses prior to an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team attending.

The EOD team moved the device (type unspecified) to a safe, open area where it was made safe.
