EOD Team Called Out to Grenade and Flare Incidents in Lincoln

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called out to two separate incidents in Lincoln after the discovery of a hand grenade and a flare.

The grenade was found by a magnet fisherman, whilst the flare was found in the back garden of a residential property.

Both devices were taken to Royal Air Force (RAF) Scampton airfield, where they were made safe in a controlled explosion.
