Roads and pathways were closed in Leicester after the discovery of a suspected mortar shell by a magnet fisherman. The device was found in the River Soar in the Belgrave district of the city.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called out by Police, and they removed the device from the scene.
