More UXO Found at Medmerry Beach
On the 4th April, a bomb squad and a coastguard team were called after the discovery of several items of UXO, including practice bomb heads and 20mm rounds, were found at Medmerry Beach, West Sussex.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team attended the scene and destroyed the items in a controlled explosion.
This is the latest in a series of UXO finds at Medmerry Beach, which was used as a bombing and air-to-ground firing range during #WWII
