Paragliders Disrupt EOD Operation for Grimsby UXO Find

There was drama on Cleethorpes beach after paragliders disrupted an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operation.

A military EOD team was getting ready to safely detonate Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) that had been found earlier in the day in a Grimsby garden. Local residents had been evacuated after the find.

The paragliders encroached within the safety cordon put in place by the EOD team on the beach.

Fortunately, the item was made safe as anticipated.
