Suffolk Police attended reports on Saturday 20th April of a ‘bomb’ being discovered in Shotley, near Felixstowe. An Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team were called to the scene and identified the device as a ‘57mm Bofors anti-aircraft shell’, which was safely removed.
