An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called out after a suspected nose cone from a WWII-era mortar was found in a farmer’s field near Warrington.
Police were called to a farm in Stockton Heath after the discovery and the EOD team subsequently removed the item for safe disposal.
