Devon and Cornwall Police were called on Tuesday 20th February to the discovery of an item of suspected UXO (which has been reported as a suspected unexploded WWII bomb) in a back garden in St. Michael Avenue, Keyham. A Royal Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team attended the scene and work continues on rendering the device safe. No further updates have been issued by Devon and Cornwall Police, and the exact nature of the device remains unconfirmed.
