Police descended on Greenfaulds Station in Cumbernauld after the discovery of a suspected unexploded grenade from World War Two.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was mobilised to the station to assess the device, which was found in a ‘grassy area’ nearby. It was removed for safe disposal.
