‘Unexploded Hand Grenade’ Pulled from the Great Ouse in Bedford

Bedfordshire Police attended reports on the 31st March of a reported ‘unexploded hand grenade’ being pulled from the River Great Ouse near Riverside Square, in Bedford.

The device was removed by an Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and destroyed in a controlled explosion.
