Roads were closed in Worcester city centre after a magnet fisherman pulled Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) from the River Severn.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was mobilised to assess the device – type unspecified – which was subsequently taken to a field near Powick and destroyed.
