‘WWI Artillery Shell’ Discovered in Berkshire

Officers from Thames Valley Police attended calls on the 24^th March of a reported WWI artillery shell being discovered in Warfield, north of Bracknell, in Berkshire. An Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team attended the scene and the device was destroyed in a controlled explosion.
