WWII Hand Grenade Found in Suffolk
Suffolk Police were called last weekend (6th/7th April) to reports of a suspected unexploded device being unearthed in a back garden in Pakefield, Lowestoft. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team attended the scene and the device was confirmed as a WWII-era hand grenade. The grenade was found to contain traces of explosives and was safely removed by EOD officers.
