WWII Incendiary Bomb Discovered in Bexley

The Metropolitan Police were called on 20th March to the discovery of a suspected unexploded device at Joyden’s Wood in Bexley, south-east London. Specialist officers removed the device and a controlled detonation was carried out. The device has since been confirmed as a WWII German incendiary bomb.
